Killing Me Softly | Ethiopia | Natural Process

from $26.00

Sometimes you just catch a vibe from a coffee, and if I had to go out, this is the coffee I would be drinking on the way. It has so much to give; Ms. Lauren would be happy to dump that man for this coffee from producers in Sidama. It comes from an area that’s less than 20 kilometers from the Shantawene Village coffee we’ve all grown to love here in CMR_LAND. Sing it with me: strummin my pain with his fingers; singing my life with his words; killing me softly with his song; killing me sooooftly with his song….

“It really snaps at ya, but lets you off easy in the end. I’m getting a lot of fresh strawberry sweetness, but there are pops of acidity and candy and tropical fruit, and like grape soda. But also the aroma [checks notes] Strawberry, Mango, and Grape Soda—shit, that’s crazy. While you’re getting those things at different times and on different parts of your palate, a lot of the time they meld together and it tastes like Nerds. I’ve been eating a lot of nerds from Halloween, but I haven’t had them in like a week and this coffee tastes like nerds.” -the roaster
